Vroom Vroom Goes the Blue Room

There is a long list of things I love about Suncreek Methodist Preschool but the Bike-A-Thon is somewhere near the top.  It's cuteness overload.  Mallory is in the blue room this year.  The kids and parents and teachers all go all out.  It's so fun to see all the different colored rooms showing so much spirit.  Then there's the D.J. who makes it feel like a party, with his awesome racing mixes.

Sheer Joy

Gettin our Fair On

Howdy Folks.
There's no fair like the State Fair of TX.  This year we even had an out of stater to share the fun with.  The kids all had free tickets and a day off school.  Chris took the day off as well and we took advantage of the kids being home.  The most important thing we learned was this - don't ever go to the fair on the free day from school day.  It was so not worth it.  The traffic, the crowds, the lines, it was all bad.  Thanks to the iPhone camera I have tons-o-photos to show for the said event.
Filiming an OU and TX commercial.

Mr. Giraffe, sorry about the conditions of your 10x10 space.

A Texas size corn dog gives this little man a Texas size smile.

Texas size cotton candy.

There's always this food variety if you're into that sort of thing.

Our strategizing team.

Thanks for the lift Charlotte!

Of course there's the scary rides that can be put up and taken down in just a few hours.  Scary.

Enjoying some relaxation.  It really looks like there's two guys posing behind them.
Here is TX we learn a thing or two about farming at the fair.

We came, we saw, we're headed home.  Yee-haw.

White Tiger Family Day

What started out as an ordinary Saturday routine of taking Mason to Taekwondo turned out to be the highlight of our weekend.  Cheryl was in town visiting and we went to watch Mason at  his lesson.  Little did we know that it was "family day"  where the parents participate.
Chris being the awesome sport he is went out and did it.  Luckily I'd just ran 11 miles and had a good excuse of why I wasn't up for it - and someone had to photograph the moment.
 Like father like son.
Being dressed and showered for the day didn't hold him back.
It was so funny to see the dad's giving it their all, it was so fun to see Mason watching his dad give it his all.  I'm so happy I didn't miss the once in who knows how often moment.
